Although it’s been a long time since the release of their collaborative album, OF Tape Vol. 2, Tyler, the Creator and Domo Genesis have decided to revisit the past with “Sam (Is Dead).” Directed under his Wolf Haley alias, Tyler has stepped behind the camera to try his luck at directing. And like most things Tyler does, the thing came out awesome, dark, and really, really engrossing.

Shot as a short-film with a militaristic theme, “Sam (Is Dead)” is split into “click-clack-pow!” moments, comical shots between soldiers, and close-ups of Tyler rapping very colloquially. Check out the music video below and, if you haven’t already, download OF Tape Vol. 2 from iTunes below!
