Jason Mraz – Love Is a Four Letter Word [Album]

Jason Mraz is an American singer-songwriter who has achieved international success. His hit single “I’m Yours” spent 76 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. On April 13, 2012, he released his latest album, Love Is a Four Letter Word. The deluxe version of the album costs $14.99, but contains 18 tracks, making it a bargain.

The album has a good mix of tracks. Some songs, like “The Freedom Song,” “The Woman I Love,” and “The World As I See It” have an intoxicating groove characteristic of Mraz. Other songs, like “I Won’t Give Up” and “In Your Hands” are slow and tender. Every song though, regardless of the mood, is well crafted and catchy. “Everything Is Sound” will probably be stuck in your head for quite a while.

Love Is a Four Letter Word also features some fairly diverse instrumentation. If you were expecting a great deal of acoustic songs, you will be surprised. The tracks feature not just the obligatory acoustic guitar, but also some electric guitar, drums, keyboard, organ, even a little mandolin. These diverse instruments all come together to produce a unified and well-mixed sound. And of course, Mraz’s voice is as smooth as ever, and his lyrics just as infectious. At $15 for 18 tracks, each as good as the last, the deluxe version is certainly worth picking up. Get your copy now.

The first track, “The Freedom Song” has been included below.

Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m
thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for newbie blog writers? I’d definitely
    appreciate it.

Hello! Glad you’re enjoying the site. As for pointers, I’d say just keep writing, and try not to be too discouraged by any negative feedback you might get. That’s not to say that you should dismiss it, because criticism can definitely help strengthen your writing, but don’t let it crush you. There’s a lot of opinions out there, and some people just like to be hurtful. Keep doing what you’re doing, and best of luck to you!
