Frank Ocean – “PDA” (Unreleased)

Frank Ocean– the sensitive side of Odd Future– sang this re-make of the Backstreet Boys‘ pop song, “PDA,” which was featured on their 2009 album, This Is Us. Although the song was just leaked, it is an unreleased piece, and was created long before Frank Ocean actually became “Frank Ocean.” In fact, he covered the track back when he still went by the name Lonny Breaux.

Some forget that Ocean is actually part of Odd Future because of how soft his songs are compared to songs by other OFWGKTA members like Tyler, the Creator or Earl Sweatshirt. The best thing about Ocean, though, is how he brings a gentle coo to Odd Future–  creating a sense of diversity and singularity within the group. Frank Ocean’s rendition and the original track can be streamed from below! Enjoy!
