The craigslist amalgamation, L.A. stationed group, Capital Cities, is a pop-electronic duo composed of two very talented, impressively bearded fellows named Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian. They released their debut EP in June 2011 independently and have been working diligently since– their latest track, “Kangaroo Court,” echoing nothing more than pure, chirpy talent. “Kangaroo Court” is one of those songs that really helps you remember just how fun music can be, and that sometimes, just sometimes, it doesn’t have to break your heart or leave you questioning your very own existance, to be a good song. With Capital Cities’ latest track, you can sit back, crack a beer, and ride the horns into nirvana, smile at the implementation of crafty audio glitch.
