Amy Stroup – “Sabotage”

Born in Boston, raised in Texas, and currently based in Nashville, Amy Stroup has been playing piano since second grade, and guitar since seventh. Her years of dedication are very apparent in her work. Stroup’s songs have been heard in multiple TV shows, including One Tree Hill. Her latest single, “Sabotage,” was released on February 21, 2012, and is an incredible addition to her collection.

The song begins with a simple piano and Stroup’s voice, and adds in percussive elements as the song progresses. It maintains a spacey and ephemeral feel throughout, allowing the listener to sink into a content trance. The track is perfect music to work to, nap to, or just sit and listen to. At only 99 cents, it’s a steal that is certainly worth your time.

The track is not yet on soundcloud, but you can listen to it below.
